Unless you spend $$$, you will not process! Sad, but true.
  • Awesome Game but Expensive

    By CE-W
I don't play many games but love this one. The renovation is fun and I like how you get additional lives after a period of time. The game really keeps your interest which is good and bad. You get so absorbed in the game that you are suddenly spending quite a bit on coins. When you pay the first 900 to extend the time it does not last very long. Some lelvels seem to be impossible to pass without paying the extra coins. I am not limiting myself to so many purchases in a month. Parents may become irritated if there child is constantly buying coins. Overall a great game, but gets costly.
  • goes from a fun game to frustrating

I really enjoyed playing this game however since I got into the 60 levels it just gets more and more frustrting. When I have to play a level almost 20 times and never even get close it is no longer relaxing, it becomes frustrating. If I would spend cash for extra plays and power-ups I could probably beat the levels but where is the skill in that? It makes it appear that buying extra turns and power ups is the plan behind the nearly impossible levels starting in the 60s. If I can't beat a level without buying "favors" then what is the point? I will be deleting this game soon because it is not worth the frustration.
  • Level 538-finally out of the garden

I now enjoy the game again being back in the mansion, able to renovate it instead of doing gardening. I now give it 5 stars. The game is just challenging enough to be fun & not become boring. Graandma

For a while, I thought maybe this game wasn't worth it because I was stuck on Level 45 FOREVER and I was reaaalllly frustrated! Finally, I noticed there are level tutorials. Always read those. They help a lot. Also, I had the whole collection of 'Scapes games when you could buy them and I loved them and I love Austin and the crew, too. I do miss the HOPs, though. Hope you bring those back at some point. Also intrigued by other areas in the house. Hope I get to move up soon.
  • Other Than At First - Just Not Fun

    By Lynnemd
A fun premise that centers on redecorating a mansion in disrepair. I like the concept, the games and the graphics but a few issues make this a mediocre experience. You can be stuck on a level for days - and that’s playing all of your “lives” (games) a couple times a day. This frustration takes the fun out of playing. Some tasks require multiple points to complete; to labor for a couple days to finally complete a hard game for one point is a bit frustrating. Lastly, the decor choices are unattractive; more choices are needed. A great premise and cute dialogue but it's been made too difficult to enjoy.

  • Don’t spend money on this game

Homescapes is a great game. It is possible to pass levels without buying power ups! It will take longer to complete the levels without spending money, but it is possible! I am on level 112, and I have not spent any money on this game. This game isn’t the kind where you can beat every level on the first try. It takes multiple tries and patience. If you don’t have patience, then this isn’t the game for you, but it is a great game!
