  • Doesn’t seem to support Chrome

    By Tiger Mountain
I’m a L-T Malwarebytes customer on Mac OSX and Windows and am very happy with the products on those OS’s. I tried the iPhone/iOS version and deleted it because I prefer Chrome to Safari and the iOS version doesn’t seem to support it. I’d use it if it supported Chrome, and my rating would be much higher.

    Does it work for Android
  • Great Ad Blocker (so far)

    By MleeMjones
I downloaded this for my iPhone purely for the adblocker (so sorry can’t comment on other features), based on my long term use and trust of MalwareBytes on my PCs (used since they launched and bought lifetime licenses for my whole architecture firm years and years ago...if only I could use that lifetime license for the extra features of this). Anyway, I realize and support that free websites need advertising to pay for themselves but found more and more where implementing obnoxious ads that automatically played ads with video AND SOUND as soon as you scrolled by with headphones. The issue with this is that is also instantly and beyond obnoxiously pauses any other music you are playing on your iPhone just so they can blast some ad. This may be slightly more tolerable if you can just start the music again, but if you are one of the millions of us who live in NYC and commute on subway and rely on buffers/caches to continuously listen to streaming music between the cell deadspots this instantly and permanently stops your stream. While I understand and generic blog having this I don’t understand why one of the leading tech blogs that starts with Gizmo.. would utilizing such a barbaric ad technique. It used to be my top tech blog but stopped visiting 6 months ago because of this. Thanks to Malwarebytes I can go back although out of principle may just continue to avoid. Anyway after just a few hours of use I have found this app flawless as I expect from this company. Download it now and thanks Malwarebytes!

    Still too much trash
  • Not as useful as on pc

    By Arikdefrasia
I like Malwarebytes and highly recommend it on pc, but this hasn’t identified a single robocall or scam caller over the past week that I’ve had it. Emailed support and asked what the issue might be and they said that I’d have to report the numbers that are calling me for them to be identified. Kinda defeats the point of having this if I have to answer the robocalls to know that they’re robocalls.
