    Learning a lot!
  • WordPower good app, but has a bug

    By 蓝大卫 (Lan Da Wei)
I echo Sonia's comments. Both WordPower and WordPower Lite sometimes don't go into the app when it is invoked. My work around for this is to uninstall the app and reinstall them. However in doing so, I lose any WordBank data. :-( When the app works, I find it very helpful. My other feedback would be that in flash card mode that if flip a little faster when the user is ready to move on to the next word. Followup to my comment. I e-mailed the Chinese Class 101 with my concern. The feedback I received was that the bug occurs only when the flashcards are placed in random mode and they are working on a fix. Appreciated the quick follow up!

I love the word a day with pronunciation. You can save the favorite words to a favorites menu. The pronunciation helps a lot.

I have been speaking Chinese for 16 years but don't use it regularly any more. This is a great refresher ap for flights to china to prep my vocabulary. Love the category approach and flash cards.
  • Pretty good app!

I actually bought this a few months ago then forgot about it. It has definitely come a long way since then! I like the flash cards and the words and phrases. I would encourage more pictures of the items and maybe use those pictures in the flash cards too!
  • Expensive and quirky

The good: this app gives you characters and pronunciation by native speakers. The bad: the selection of words and expressions is not especially useful (and in some cases it's bizarre). Expensive.
  • What a joke

    By 2309Michael2309
This app is a joke. Many of the chinese words have no sound, the pinyin spellings are not correct, etc, or button to listen to a sound is missing, the word groups are poorly arranged. Idiots never even used this app before dumping on public The app wants to send you to a website with free lifetime membership... But the lessons require flash. What a pile of junk
