  • Great content. Fun cartoons

    By Brayton
Great ca and SF coverage. Awesome ca sports coverage. I put my phone in portrait mode and can read all the cartoons easily.
  • No e-edition

    By cnl12335
About a month ago, the e-edition stopped working on the app. Notifications were sent out, and it seemed like the Chronicle was preparing to fix this significant bug. But now, four weeks later, I still can’t read the e-edition through the app. Is this still an issue the Chronicle is trying to solve or is that feature no longer available?
  • What a piece of crap . . .

    By monsan1414141
Without a doubt, the worst app I've ever downloaded . . .the sections are either empty or there are multiple duplications of the same story with a different headline . . Entire sections disappear from the daily news. And support is non-existent. I guess with the print version being no more than an advertising vehicle, it's not surprising . . .
  • Limited access even for subscribers

    By Eggiers
I’m paying for this app and paper and frequently when I click on links within articles to other SF Chronicle articles I’m told I can’t access them. What? Really!? I pay for many content subscriptions and this is the only one where this happens.
  • No search

    By TNfromSF
Very weak ap. No search is a grossly missing feature, inexcusable! Subscription should work on browsers as well as ap.
  • App works for me

    By bgdtzkjlp
Overall, I’ve been happy with the app. I haven’t had login or anything other significant problems with the app on my phone, iPad or PC. I would like a search function and the ability to save or bookmark articles.
  • Terrible app

    By Summersonata
If it remembered my login, it would be great. But every SINGLE time I try to access articles, it says I need to link my account. I link it, it should be good, then nothing. About ready to cancel our membership overall because of this!
  • Don’t get the whole newspaper

    By Fluid Express
Two major problems. First, when I click on almost any article labeled “Feature “, I get told that I’ve reached some limit and need to subscribe. Well, I am subscribed through the app! There seems to be a disconnect between the app and some types of articles, but not others. Second, when I try to click through to a link in an article I’m reading, the link takes me to the web version of the paper, and again I’m asked to subscribe in order to read the linked material. This is seriously dysfunctional.
  • No access, just the bill

    By Sqr1295
I pay the app subscription fee but still see warnings that I only have 2 articles remaining.
  • Where’s the Crossword?!

    By Gpvpgaryspaul
The old version was buggie and slow, but easy to see article lists on a side column, allowed you to read the issue from up to a week ago, and had one of the best interactive crosswords anywhere. Please bring the crossword back!
