  • Inconsistent texts

    By dmleong
I have a subscription for a permanent number for my business and it’s incredibly flaky. Texts don’t always come through, so I miss important information from people or they don’t receive it from me. The app is also slow and doesn’t load very fast. If you need a quick number, Burner is great. If you need a long-lived secondary number, look elsewhere.
  • A paid texting app?

    By GSPatton
Give me a break, this should be free!!! NO NO NO!
  • Worked fine till terminated

    By karno123
I had been using this app flawlessly for the past year till I was away on international travel. As soon as I left the country, I was not able to use the app. It kept asking to verify my number. I figured this was due to being away and figured I would tackle this upon my return. As soon as I got back, I kept getting the same error messages. Keep in mind, I am an auto renewing monthly member. I had to contact customer support who replied by saying my account was terminated for violating their terms of service. This seems like a vague response. Too bad, It was good while it lasted.....
  • Good

The app is very good, it works and its cheap honestly, but when sending text messages, is there a way to know if they’ve been read or not? Thats the only thing that bugs me.
  • Great for Craigslist Tranactions

  • Can’t even log in

    By mommoestrong
Every time I try to log in it says my international setting need to be turned on. They are turned on. I can’t even get into this app much less figure out how to make it stop charging me. This is a rip off!! Don’t download!!!!

  • Great app but could you add this feature

    By Pixelwizard
I use my burner lines for my business and set it up so the burner number appears to my phone, however it would be useful if I could keep my setup the way it is but the phone number of the caller is displayed in the description screen of the incoming call from burner as I need to be able to separate my incoming calls per burner number and the only way I can do that is by maintaining the incoming calls to display as the burner number but I’d like to see the incoming callers number displayed somewhere on the screen that displays my burner number as well..... My other feature request is I make 100 calls per day using my subscribed burner number and I’d like to be able to search my history of phone calls by the last 4 digits of the incomings phone number. That would allow me to easily search through my history of phone calls to find a call I may have made earlier.... Otherwise great app.... I wanted to add I realized I could search last 4 digits of a phone number in burner past calls using search of iPhone and it locates number in burner app and takes me right there. That allows me to do what I have to do :)
  • No Bluetooth?

    By Bobby T.
For some reason I can’t listen to voice mail messages when using bluetooth headphones. What’s more is my bluetooth headphone pretty much cease working with my phone all together when I try. I eventually figured out I can get my headphones back if I force close the app. At least that’s better than restarting my phone every time I use the app. I even made sure to go into privacy bluetooth settings, but there was no entry for the burner app,
  • Ap stopped working after 24hrs. No answer to support questions, just locked out.

NEGATIVE INFINITY STARS!!!! I guess the folks at Burner must have asked themselves: “How can we make a simple phone app experience so horrible that an ordinary person will want to spend 20 minutes writing a one star review on the App Store? Here’s how. This is a glitchy app that clearly doesn’t run smoothly on the latest iOS. This seemed to be working great at first, but after a few hours the app locked up, deleted messages, told me my phone number wasn’t valid, and basically just stopped working at all after less than a day. Instead of attempting to fix it or possibly do something useful or productive, I was asked over and over to let Burner send my phone a verification code, which it was never able to send because, I guess, the crew at Burner is terrible at making functional apps? The app keeps telling me to try again later, so I kept trying for several hours, mainly because the app also won’t let me retrieve several messages regarding a truck I’m selling on Craigslist, the reason why I downloaded this app in the first place. Anyway, about 24 hours after I sent the email inquiring why my account wasn’t working, I got the vague, accusatory response saying I had violated the terms of use agreement, without any further explanation. I’m told I can contact their legal department for further explanation but I have a hunch that it would be a better use of my time to lick maggots out of a dead raccoon.
